WARNING: A few customers are commenting saying they’ve been scammed so I cannot in good faith recommend this program anymore. Buyer Beware
Firstly, it’s rare that I ever write reviews on marketing training programs because of the amount of bad ones out there. Since Simple Sites Big Profits is actually pretty good and has made it into the chosen few, so here I am writing this review.
Having been in this business for about 5 years now, I can honestly say that there are only a handful of “good guys” in the whole internet marketing scene who sell training products. One would be Chris Rempel of The Lazy Marketer – another would be Chad Hamzeh with Traffic BlackBook – and the other would be Marcus Campbell of Simple Sites Big Profits.
If you only followed them two, you’d probably do pretty good. The business of affiliate marketing is actually really easy – the hard part is figuring it all out on your own.
To succeed, what you need are examples!
For some odd reason, out of thousands of programs that supposedly teach you how to do internet marketing, they always leave one thing out – Examples. Examples of things that have worked.
When I was first starting out, that’s all I really wanted. I found it so much easier for my brain to take the ideas presented through an example, and then apply it to my own stuff. In fact, if you’re in a hurry to see an example, you can see Marcus’ $137/day site here.
The fact that Markus actually shows his examples is extremely rare because that part of the information sharing doesn’t usually happen. There are so many people out there who package up “theory” and then sell it!
I have done a few examples of profitable little campaigns where I use paid traffic on this very blog here and here, but I can assure you that your time is better spent experimenting and not looking for “more of those examples”.
OK, how does this all work?
Let me explain how this business works so you can decide if it’s something you want to test out. Jane Doe goes to Google.com and does a search for “Car Insurance Quotes” where she comes across your website “ilovecars.com” where you are an affiliate of Geico.com. Geico pays you $5 every time someone comes from your site and requests an auto insurance quote.
Now take a look at the search volume of those keywords with Googles’ free keyword tool.
If 135,000 people came to your site looking for auto insurance quotes and you linked them to Geico (where you get $5/referral), and only a small percentage of them completed a quote, it’s pretty easy to see that you would make a lot of money. It’s a unrealistic example, but it’s just to illustrate how this all the works.
This is what “Simple Sites Big Profits” is ALL about. Teaching you the mechanics of setting up a site and marketing it. When I say “marketing it”, I mean getting traffic and then making sure it’s all working and making money. If Simple Sites Big Profits sounds interesting to you, you can get it at this link.
Is Making Websites Difficult?
When I was first getting started, I took things way overboard. I spent 1 year learning how to program HTML. I then spent another year learning more advanced programming. And you know what? It was completely unnecessary. Useful, but unnecessary.
In 2011, there is a popular “blogging” software called WordPress. It’s completely free and it takes all the hassle out of building websites, so you don’t even need to know HTMl or anything like that. It’s like Microsoft Word for websites basically. You put in a title and some paragraphs and click publish.
Putting up websites is not the hard part. If you are interested learning all the little things about the making money part, I highly recommend you try Simple Sites Big Profits out for yourself. You can order it here.
